| The 2009 OPGMA Congress just concluded and was an overwhelming success. Even a nasty winter storm didn't prevent attendance and exhibitor numbers from topping those of last year's program. |

|
The range of production, problem solving, marketing, and business education opportunities, along with interaction with exhibitors and networking with peers was outstanding. The program featured academic speakers from Clemson, Cornell, Texas A&M, the USDA-ARS, The Ohio State University, the Wildlife Division of the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, among others. |
| It showcased the talents of growers, consultants, and other industry professionals from around the country. Topics featured included food safety, deer management, sustainability, and wind energy, together with production, pest management, business management, and marketing. |
